There are lots of ways to pay your Northumbrian Water bill.


Do you prefer a no-hassle Direct Debit? Would you rather use secure online payments, or pay with cash at the local shop? Great, we've got all sorts of options to suit you.

Direct Debit

Direct Debit is the easiest, and most popular way to pay your bill. You'll also get a discount of £7.50 (that's £3.75 for water and another £3.75 for sewerage) off your annual bill.


Simply choose the date you want to make your payment, and we'll do the rest.

Online payments

We can't say it enough, but an online account is the best way to do pretty much everything for your customer account. That includes making card payments quickly and securely.


Of course, you don't need an online account to make payments online. If you'd rather use the website only, you can do that here. We're just saying, an online account makes it faster.


Paying by PayPoint? No problem.


If you'd like to request a replacement PayPoint card, simply create an online account, or log in, and you'll be able to fire off a request at the push of a button.

Also, a friendly reminder, please don't send cash through the post.

Pay at your bank or pop into the post office

Take your payment slip and pay your bill at a bank. It's usually free at your own bank, and if you're paying in cash at any NatWest branch.


You can also take your payment slip to the post office, too. There is a charge of £2.60 for this service.
