StepChange Debt Charity can give you free, independent advice on money and how to handle debt.
It's not an easy conversation, so we want to make sure you have access to trained advisors who can help.

0800 138 1111. This helpline is open Monday to Friday, 8am to 8pm and Saturdays, from 8am to 4pm.
Before you call, StepChange asks that you fill in their online budget form, found in the 'Prepare for Your Call' section on their contact page. It will give them an idea of your circumstances. Calls take around 40 minutes.

Citizen's Advice is another popular, free source of advice and information. Their website has a great "Debt and money" section, with a clear layout and search bar, too.

The Money Advice Service, from the Government, is a free money advice service.
The website has useful budget calculators, tips for saving money, and advice on loans and debt.
