Bamburgh Castle beach is a large and sandy beach backed by sand dunes and beautiful views towards the Farne Islands. Bamburgh lies on the Northumberland coast in an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Quality standards are set by the Bathing Water Regulations to make sure bathing waters are clean and healthy. Please note: The Coronavirus pandemic impacted EA regulatory bathing water sampling during 2020. As a result, bathing waters in England were not classified for the 2020 bathing season and therefore no official classification was published.
