Drop-in session to disucss Bellingham water mains improvements

Residents in Bellingham, Northumberland can find out more about essential work to upgrade the water supply network in the village at a public meeting next week.

Northumbrian Water is to replace 1.8km of cast iron water mains with HPPE plastic mains. The work, which is being carried out by contractor Fastflow Pipeline Services, is due to start on Monday, February 10 and is expected to take about three months to complete.

Members of the project team will be available to answer any questions about the scheme at an open session held at the Cheviot Hotel, Bellingham on Tuesday, January 28 between 4pm and 7pm.
