Steelcoat protects pipebridge over the Tees

Winn & Coales’ Steelcoat system has been chosen to protect a Northumbrian Water  pipebridge that goes over the Tees.  The 65 m length.  pipebridge carries potable water in two 33 inch diameter mains.

The contractors for this major pipebridge refurbishment project were Advanced Engineering Solutions Ltd of Cramlington.  They again demonstrated that Winn & Coales’ Denso Steelcoat 400 system can give an attractive finish, as well as its functional anti-corrosion protection.

The Denso Steelcoat 400 system applied (following wire brushing to remove previous coatings) consisted of: Hi-Tack Primer, Denso Profiling Mastic, Hi-Tack Tape, Ultraseal Tape, followed by a final two coats of acrylic topcoat.
