'Looking to the future' - our final business plan and strategic direction statement

Our plans for water and sewerage services in the north east of England

We are preparing our plans for the future.  Our aim is to keep bills as low as we can whilst ensuring you continue to receive safe, clean drinking water and excellent customer service.  When you flush the toilet, take a shower, empty the bath or sink we want you to know that your wastewater will not cause any harm to the environment.

Our final business plan sets out in detail our plans for the period 2010-15.  It takes into account the feedback we have had on our draft business plan from customers, the Consumer Council for Water, Regulators and other stakeholders.

We want your views

Ofwat, the industry regulator, will use our final business plan in setting draft water prices in July 2009.  We welcome your thoughts on our plans, which will help us represent your views in discussions with Ofwat.
