Northumbrian Water is committed to providing a high quality service to its customers throughout the region and is investing millions of pounds to upgrade its water and sewerage networks.

As part of this commitment, we are upgrading Mosswood water treatment works, which treats up to 152 million litres of water every day.  The £7 million scheme will begin week commencing Monday, 1 September 2008 and take up to fourteen months to complete.

The improvement work will involve upgrading various assets and processes.

During the course of the work construction traffic will gain access to the site via Wallish Walls Road.  We will do everything we can to reduce any inconvenience.
