Our terms and conditions and policies are set out in our Employee Handbook which is available in hard copy at a number of our sites and on our Corporate Intranet available on line to everyone.

All policies support the principles contained within our Group Code of Conduct.

Our Employee Handbook is subject to negotiation or consulted as appropriate through our Employee Relations Framework.

We recognise five different trade unions within the organisation:- GMB, Unison, Amicus, T&G & UCAT; GMB, Unison and Amicus are the 3 lead trade unions.

Employee relations in the company are good and our commitment to working together for the good of the business overall is summarised in our Working in Partnership booklet.

Our annual Employee Attitude survey is a good barometer of how our people feel about working for the organisation.  Some headlines are:-
