Water regulations
Water regulations and Pipeline Solutions.
The water regulation and Pipeline Solution workshops were held on the 19th and 20th June at Northumbrian Water offices, located at Horsley and Pity Me. There were three half day sessions which have been well attended by over 60 customers in the region.
The workshop covered the following:
1) Awareness of the Regulations and their objectives.
2) To make you aware of your responsibilities and obligations.
3) Bring to your attention possibilities of contamination and how to prevent it happening.
4) The importance of notifications when changes on sites (with respect to water fittings, installations etc).
There was also a short presentation from Pipeline Solutions outlining the services they provide and the work they have been doing with customers - leak detection, watermains repairs and replacements, new pipe installations, specialist metering services, asset condition surveys.
