We are able to offer water management solutions tailored to individual customer's requirements in a consultancy-based industrial partnering agreement. In addition, we offer a range of products and services to help business customers measure, monitor, manage water consumption and ensure water systems are operated safely.

Wastewater management

We offer a number of solutions to meet industry’s varying wastewater treatment and disposal requirements.

Business customers are able to discharge wastewater to the public sewer by obtaining a Consent to Discharge Trade Effluent.  By transferring effluent to one of our sewage treatment works, customers often benefit from a low or no cost capital solution to meet their needs.  To find out more about obtaining a consent and details of our competitive trade effluent tariffs please visit the section of our website.

We have a successful track record of developing and delivering private infrastructure solutions to treat customers’ wastewater.  By entering into a long-term arrangement with us, we are able to design and construct dedicated pipelines to transfer effluent to bespoke treatment facilities.  One such example is the plant at Bran Sands, Teesside that provides effluent treatment for major multi-national companies in the vicinity.  Since its establishment in 1995 the Bran Sands facility has won four environmental awards. 

Also located at Bran Sands is the largest reception and treatment facility in the region for tankered industrial effluents.
