Unmetered charges

Understanding your bill as an unmetered customer

89p a day or £326 for the year commencing 1st April 2010 is the average bill for customers not on a meter. This covers the cost of supplying your clean water and the removal and treatment of your wastewater. And, if you pay by direct debit directly to us, this amount is reduced by up to £6.00.

Charges (for the period 1 April 2010 – 31 March 2011)

 Your water and sewerage services bills are in two parts:

• A fixed charge

• A  charge based on the rateable value or equivalent business rate of your property

For water you pay:

• A fixed charge of £80.00

• A charge of 48.15p per £ rateable value

For sewerage you pay:

• A fixed charge of £104.50

• Acharge of 51.19p per £ of rateable value

Your water your services

Not connected for surface water drainage?

If you do not drain any surface water to our sewers, you may claim a rebate if you are currently paying sewerage charges.  The level of this rebate is £38.90 for 2010/11.
