Operation Strongbow

Bogus callers are people who pretend to be from a water company or other agencies but who are only interested in stealing from our customers' homes.  Northumbrian Water is working closely with the police and is a partner of Operation Strongbow.  As part of this initiative the police have come up with a fun and creative way to raise awareness about, and prevent bogus caller crime.

This card, which is supported by Northumbrian Water, can be downloaded for children and grandchildren, neices and nephews to get important messages to elderly relatives and friends.  If your school would like a representative of Operation Strongbow to come and talk to pupils about helping to raise awareness about and reducing this horrible crime contact Ingrid Wolfe, Durham Constabulary, on 0845 60 60 365 ext. 661 2333 or ingrid.wolfe@durham.pnn.police.uk
