Food for thought
This seminar was held on Tuesday 29 June at Northumbrian Water offices in Durham for food manufacturing customers.
The event chaired by Matthew Glover (account management) included presentations from Richard Foster (Scientific Services) and Mike Rewcastle (asset planning) as well as three speakers from the food industry.
The seminar covered topics on trade effluent awareness and Northumbrian Water’s new advanced anaerobic digester at Bran Sands. Case studies were also provided by KP Foods, Phileas Fogg company and Kookaburra Ltd who presented details of their site improvements.
A tour of the advanced anaerobic digester at Bran Sands followed the seminar.
