After raising more than £15,000 for the charity WaterAid in the last three years Northumbrian Water has again teamed up with Northumberland tackle company Hardy Greys to stage a series of fun charity competitions.

The cost of competition entry will be at the normal day ticket rate and the winners will land themselves an Explorer season ticket. There will also be generous Hardy Greys prize vouchers for those in the top three places.

There are WaterAid events organised for both individuals fishing from the bank or pairs of anglers fishing from a boat at Kielder Water. And there are separate competitions for multi bait and coarse anglers as well as fly fishers at Derwent and Whittle Dene.

This year there will be two opportunities to enter the WaterAid Kielder pairs fly fishing competition - one in May and one in June. There will be a limit of 15 pairs per day and those who finish in the top half will land a free place to take part in the grand final in July.
