Environmental management system

Northumbrian Water has a comprehensive environmental policy in place applicable to all departments in the business and, as a company, we hold the ISO 14001 standard. 

Our integrated management system encourages staff to evaluate the impact of all their activities on the environment; we emphasise the importance of reusing or recycling materials and the need to cut down on both energy wastage and fuel emissions.
