Don't let bogus callers in

Before you let anyone in to your home - THINK!

Are you expecting anyone? If not keep them out of your home! It is very unlikely that Northumbrian Water will need to get into your home without arranging it with you first. If you do open your door, USE YOUR CHAIN.

Look for logos on vehicles and clothing and examine the caller's identity and card.

If the caller says they are from the water company ring Northumbrian Water to confirm their identity. A genuine Northumbrian Water employee will not mind waiting outside while these checks are carried out. The number to call is:

To register a password ring the above number or complete the online form - anyone from the water company needing to gain access to your property will know your password.
